As of 2010 all new cars must have Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems in place (TPMS)
Almost all of these systems are contolled by a module fitted to the base of tyre valve.
These componants are subject to extreme conditons and are subject to failure at anytime.
Where a new TPMS valve is fitted to a wheel it needs to be re-programmed to the cars ECU or brain and up until recently only a main dealer could do this.
Bridgwater Tyres and Exhausts can now supply and fit OEM valves with ECU re-programming and install them for conciderably less than a main dealer, with the added advantage of not having to book the car in and leave it.
We can fit them while you wait!
Some of the manufacturers using this system already are Renault, Peugeot and Citroen.
